Garlic Balsamic Tater Tot Casserole
Sometimes a classic dish can be taken to another level with the addition of one or two ingredients. In this case, our Pastamore Roasted Garlic Balsamic Olive Oil provides a little extra class to a tater tot casserole. It's hard to beat crispy and cheesy potatoes.
Ingredients:
1 32oz package tater tots
1 lb lean ground beef
2 Tbsp Pastamore Roasted Garlic Balsamic Olive Oil
4 oz shredded cheese
1 15 oz can black beans
1/2 tsp salt
To taste black pepper and garlic powder
Directions:
1. Cook tater tots according to package directions. Add beans to medium pot and cook until warm, drain. Place both to the side.
2. Heat large pan on the stove over medium heat. Once hot, add ground beef and cook until thoroughly cooked. Drain and return to pan. Season with 1/2 tsp salt and to taste with black pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.
3. Preheat oven to 400° F. Add the tater tots to a 9"x 13" baking dish. Add the Pastamore Roasted Garlic Balsamic Olive Oil and mix well. Top with the black beans and ground beef. Finish the dish off with the shredded cheese. Add to the oven and cook until cheese has melted.
Sweet Sriracha Chili
Winter equals soup and chili season. This recipe makes use of our new and delicious Pastamore Sweet Sriracha Marinade and BBQ Sauce. This chili was made with ground beef, but the flavors would be great with ground turkey or chicken. Spice this recipe up with a few dashes of cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1 15 oz can chili beans, spicy
2 large tomatoes
1 medium white onion
1/2 cup Pastamore Sweet Sriracha Marinade and BBQ Sauce
2 cups water
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
To taste salt and black pepper
Directions:
1. Rinse tomatoes and roughly dice. Dice onion.
2. Heat a large pot on the stove over medium-low heat. Once hot, add the olive oil, onions, and tomatoes. Cook until onions are browned and turn heat up to medium.
3. Add ground beef to pot. Cook until browned, breaking into small pieces during cooking.
4. Add the Pastamore Sweet Sriracha Marinade and BBQ Sauce, chili beans (do not drain), water, and spices. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer.
5. Cook for 15-30 minutes or until desired thickness has been reached. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper.
6. Serve and top with crackers and shredded cheese.
