July Seasonal Recipe: The Greek Burger

July seasonal recipe uses Pastamore Roasted Garlic Grape Seed Oil with a touch of Traditional Barrel Aged Balsamic to make a refreshing and delicious burger.  So, fire up the grill and get happy with this one!

Ingredients:
1 lb - ground beef
1 Tbsp - Pastamore Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil
grape tomatoes
3 oz - crumbed feta
1/2 - cucumber
2 oz - red onion
2-3 oz - kalamata olives
4 buns
1/2 tsp - salt
1/4 tsp - oregano
1/8 tsp - black pepper
1 Tbsp - Pastamore Traditional Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar
As garnish - fresh mint

Directions:

1.  Combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, oregano, and Pastamore Traditional Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar in a large mixing bowl.  Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.  Form into 4 patties and place to the side.

2.  Slice the cucumber down the middle, and then cut into thin half coins.  Cut the grape tomatoes in half (so they don't roll of the burger).  Next, slice the onion into thin slices.  Remove the pits from the olives if necessary and roughly chop them.

3.  Turn the grill on to medium-high heat.  Once the grill is hot, place the patties on the grill.  Cook until the desired temperature has been reached.  Turn once during the cooking process.  Lightly toast the buns on the grill before turn it off.

4.  Place the cooked burger on the bottom bun.  Add the sliced cucumber, and then add the red onions.  Place the olives and tomatoes onto the burger, and finally top with the feta.  Garnish with a mint leaf and a drizzle of Pastamore Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil.
